Erthe St. James & The Erthetones

A native from the Westside of Chicago. Erthe’s desire for music and for performing began at a very young age . With influences ranging from Erykah Badu to Curtis Mayfield and from James Taylor to Nina Simone, this 28-year-old Soul singer has obtained the ability to intertwine genres to create his own unique blend of Soul, Jazz, & Funk. Erthe attended Grambling State University, Louisiana, where he majored and fell in love with Theatre, which translates in his shows.

 

The evening also features burlesque by Michelle L’amour between sets, followed by a late night dance party with DJ Hybriid!

Michelle L'amour is known as The 21st Century Goddess and has traveled all over the globe performing her unique brand of burlesque. She brings an authentically sensual experience to the stage with acts that range from classic burlesque fan dances to provocative performance art. She is known for innovation, intelligence, humor and raw power.

 

L'amour been featured on many TV shows and documentaries including, “America’s Got Talent” (season 1), MTVs “Amazingness”, France’s “Incroyable Talent”, Epix Network’s “Sex Life”, and a viral video with over 10 million views called “Butthoven”. She currently has a production residency at Untitled Supper Club in Chicago and a performance residency at Lost Spirits Distillery in Las Vegas.
